Proposals in Nashville are always magical, but this one at The Harpeth Hotel in downtown Franklin had a storybook charm that felt straight out of a romance film.
When Kerolos planned to propose to his girlfriend, Sherine, he came up with the perfect cover—a birthday dinner for himself. Sherine had no idea that her life was about to change in the most beautiful way.
Behind the scenes, Kerolos had arranged a surprise that included not only a romantic setting, but also their families and closest friends, quietly waiting to witness the big moment.

The Harpeth Hotel’s courtyard was the ideal location. Tucked away in the heart of Franklin, this open-air space features a gorgeous symmetrical staircase—a centerpiece that makes any event feel grand and intimate at the same time. With soft lights, floral details, and the Tennessee sky overhead, the scene was breathtaking.
As a Nashville engagement and proposal photographer, I’m always looking for locations that feel timeless yet unique. The Harpeth’s blend of elegant architecture and cozy, modern design offers endless possibilities for proposal photography.
Lily entered the courtyard hand in hand with Alex through a charming archway. What she saw was unforgettable: candles flickering, friends holding their breath, and Alex ready to ask her the most important question of their lives.
Moments like these are why I love photographing surprise proposals in Nashville and Franklin. Every detail matters, from the expressions to the setting—and my goal is to freeze that emotion forever.
If you’re thinking of proposing and want it captured with care, style, and emotion, I’d love to be part of your story.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
