I walked into love with you

I didn’t fall in love with you.

I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe We are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; In a hundred lifetimes, In a hundred worlds, In any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.

We , two young folks, met back in high school. I was 16, he was 17. We we’re both attending our school’ musical folk choir, so we would see each other almost everyday. I knew that he liked me by the way he looked at me. Haha . I felt in love with the way he was talking and acting when he was around me. He was very funny and trying to get some of my attention. He liked me for my modesty, intelligence and pretty smile. We would text each other every single day, having meetings in the park with more friends, playing games and having small talks . We we’re in love but good friends at that time. He would come to my house for holidays, spending New Year with my family, and I would come to his family to celebrate Christmas. Our sympathy for each other was sprouting every single day. Our relationship was a very gradual but loving story.

We grew up together and saw each other becoming more and more mature. The path of moving to a new country, USA , was not easy for us, but it made us even stronger and closer to each other. The fact that we got married is an important step in our life. I knew I want this man for the rest of my life and I will never forget this day and the way my heart felt – as a break I ever had in my heart was filled knowing this man would be by my side forever.”

And now we are officially one Family. 2020 was planned to be spent with the closest people. We wanted our family to be with us in this significant day. But the reality had different plans on all of us. The borders were closed but not so our hearts. Luckily there is network and we got the chance to keep in touch with our families so that we feel close to each other even if thousands miles are separating us. Our small wedding was beautiful, even if family was not close we shared this moment with loved ones, friends and people we care about. Andrei: “Today I join my life to yours, not simply as your husband, but as your friend, your lover, and your biggest supporter. Let me be the shoulder you lean on and the companion of your life.”Nina: “ I vow to support you, inspire you, and love you always. For as long as we both shall live, I will be by your side–for better or worse, in sickness and health, for richer or poorer. You are my one and only today and every day.
